Based out of Vancouver, BC, Endeavor have always produced solid, high-end boards. For winter 2017 they have added 3 new powder specific shapes to their line, and they’re looking good.
Endeavor Archetype Snowboard
The Archetype is born out of the brand’s R+D lab and is a production version of this deck that I wrote about last year. Judging by the reaction back then, I suspect they might just sell through the Archetype pretty quick….
Endeavor Maverick Snowboard
The Maverick is inspired by Rusty Ockenden’s style. It has a small amount of taper combined with both nose and tail rocker. Should be a solid choice for backcountry freestylers and just charging around the mountain.
Endeavor Scout Snowboard
The Scout is the 3rd shape in the line. It’s more of a conventional pow board with moderate taper (10mm), set back stance and big nose. It looks like a good choice for those who prefer a traditional directional powder board for riding all mountain and big lines. All 3 boards have raised contact points, which seem to be a pre-requisite for a pow shape this winter, along with the Channel system which features on all Endeavor boards.
It’s cool to see Endeavor entering into the pow board market, it’s pretty obvious they are gonna make a good job of it.
