The Rider Social are based out of the French resort of Chatel. They run backcountry snowboarding and splitboarding trips and courses both in their backyard zone of the massive Portes du Soliel and further afield throughout the rest of the French, Swiss and Italian Alps too.
For 2018 The Rider Social have also added a very tasty looking trip to Tamok in Norway. Fast gaining a reputation as another amazing spot in Arctic Norway to go splitboarding, Tamokdalen has the kind of terrain every snowboarder dreams of.
Also included for this winter is a Break into the Backcountry course based in the beautiful Gran Paradiso National Park. This is the course for riders looking to take their backcountry skills to the next level. There are also the usual Split and Mix, Split and Trip and Hut to Hut trips in the Alps. For the Alps based courses there will be the usual fleet of next winter’s Never Summer splitboards to use.
