Part of Patagonia Backountry Touring Range, the Dual Aspect Hoody aimed squarly at splitboarding. It uses zones areas of two different materials, an exclusive to Patagonia version of Polartec Powershield in areas where weather resistance is a concern and Polartec Power Dry where extra breathability and mobility is required. It's a combination of fabrics that should enable the Dual Aspect Hoody to be used as outerwear in all but the gnarliest condiiotns. When you do need throw a shell over the top the Dual Aspect will keep breathing and dry out quickly underneath. A really cool option for anyone who likes to wear a soft shell in the backcountry.

Patagonia's best known item of clothing, the R1 Hoody is a super classic and is worn by splitboarder's everywhere. The R1 Hoody is the definitive fleece hoody and makes an ideal 2nd layer for splitboarding. It's also not too heavy to be used as a baselayer. A snug fitting hood, high collar, thumb loops, long length and brilliant Power Grid fabric make the R1 Hoody the benchmark product in this field.

A hoodless version of the R1 Hoody and perfect for those who prefer a simple garment without the bulk that a hood can sometimes add to a layering system. The R1 Pullover uses the same awesome fabric and the Hoody and has the same handy check pocket, brilliant fit and super stealthy seam details.

R2 JacketPatagonia R2 Jacket

The original product in Patagonia's iconic Regulator fleece line, the R2 is a super warm and very air permeable fleece that will appeal to those splitting in cold places or fr anyone who needs a big dose of insulation but prefers a trad fleece to synthetic insulation. The usual Patagonia refinements are apparent like flat stitched seams for comfort, trim low profile cuffs and zoned areas of high loft / low loft fleece for added mobility and layering comfort.
