Anyone who has driven up or down the Sea to Sky highway in clear weather will know the Tantalus. Anyone who has gazed south west from the summit of Whistler Mountain will know the Tantalus. This legendary range looks close but it’s actually a notoriously difficult zone to access.
The Tantalus range is stacked with classic coast range terrain; steep, remote and blasted with enormous amounts of snow. This film from Patagonia and Dendrite Studios beautifully shows what a special place it is. Snowboarder Ryland Bell and friends shred big lines and camp out amongst spectacular surroundings.
